Where did you take your last vacation?
We went to Mauritius in February- my husband and three daughters (8, 5 and 9 months). It has been on the bucketlist for an eternity and we wanted to do a big trip for my birthday and while Thea was still a babe and would sleep long haul. Total paradise. We stayed at Le Touessrok and the facilities for kids and service were sensational. We would have lazy mornings and walk along the beach to a boat that took us to a private island for lunch. The children are now obsessed with the place and think that an annual return is just a given?!

Which hotel (anywhere in the world) would you recommend most highly and why?
A hotel that is really close to my heart is Cliveden. We’ve stayed there a couple of times but notably for a few nights after our wedding before jetting off on honeymoon and not only is it spectacular and jaw droppingly beautiful (English grandeur in all its glory- especially its regal grounds), but its history- the Profumo Affair/Cliveden Set (Nancy Astor’s circle)- just gives the place an air of tangeable excitement and a hint of scandal. I love its facade and the sensational story behind it.
Name a place / hotel you've yet to go to, but is on the wish list?
I am desperate to do a proper trip to Marrakesh and La Mamounia is definitely on there. Santorini is also a place I’ve longed to go to and never quite made happen. Not entirely kid friendly, so a girls' trip might have to take place...
What will you be packing this summer?
I normally take a pile of boho dresses and kaftans and go statement with print and colour. It’s definitely the time not to be thinking about ‘looks’ and I love that throw it on attitude with larger than life earrings. My inner Liz Taylor definitely comes out in the sun. Basket bags from Edit58, swimsuits from my friend Sian Swimwear (she’s incredible), Jimmy Choo Leopard print flats and Saint Laurent sunglasses.
Holiday read this year?
Oh to have the time to sit down and read! I am craving that peace and lack of to do list. I am half way through Tina Brown’s The Vanity Fair Diaries and also have The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy sitting next to my bed.
