Time to pack the Voyager bag and hit the slopes! We’ve headed to Salt Lake City in Utah where the Sundance film festival is in full swing. Park City at this time offers the perfect mix of skiing and apres ski in the form of new films and film parties. Its if LA suddenly got super casual and put their ski jackets on!

We stayed at the Hyatt Escala Lodge in the Canyons – with its comfortable big rooms and open fires. Its not quite as quaint as the Alps but having the incredible powder fuelled slopes to ourselves soon relived us from our vin chaud cravings!

There is a very good reason was Salt Lake was given the Winter Olympics – the snow and the skiing is incredible & if you’re not into skiing you can sit back & chill with plenty of yummy restaurants available in the Canyons or Park City.

EH top tips Park City

– The Farm restaurant in the Canyons – where everything is scoured locally from the mountains, you have to order the famous Utah trout!

-If you cant ski try the toboggan run, apparently super fun!

– Shopping – Mary Janes Park City – spotted some great Sam Edelman heels that are coming straight back in the Voyager!

-No Name bar – no really ‘No Name’ for that all American vibe and seriously good mojitos

— And if you really want to mix with the who’s who get yourself invited to Powder Mountain and stay for one of their select dinners where you will find yourself chatting away to someone super inspiring!
